I watched Project Hail Mary on Friday and between being wildly emotionally attached to the story already and also really liking a good hopeful bit of tragedy I was weepy the whole time. Most of it was happy crying but oooooooh.

AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON STRATT. shes so interesting and i really like how they developed her. i could never really get behind her book counterpart but movie Stratt? yeah i'm so here for her. Shes such a relentlessly hopeful and pragmatic character and i love her so much. she cares and idk if i just never clocked it but it didn't come across as clear in the book, she always felt just practical. movie stratt is genuinely upset about sending grace to space but she has to, she sings her song and bares a bit of her soul and hope and freaks out, she is a whole person, such a hopeful person, and i love her so much. AND BONUS POINTS for having grace look at her with the most besotted look ever ans have it be entirely platonic. I LOVE WHEN THERES STARING AT YOUR FRIENDS LIKE THEY HUNG THE STARS REPRESENTATION IN MY MEDIA

I love seeing all of the Disco Elysium spoilers in the tags while playing for the first time because they aren't even spoilers at this point. idk how the fuck to get that info. cant spoil me if i don't even know the general plot points of the days. those are just sentences, who is Ruby (is that her name? i know it starts with an R)? I'm still stuck on Evrart and Boat Lady as the Major People. Who knows how to befriend Cuno, certainly not me. It's Wednesday and i've walked around the whole new area and i feel like i'm missing so many things but i've walked everywhere so idk what else to do besides get the music people in the church
