(This might have been done before but I just saw these text posts with Nancy and Steve from ST and I just had to make this)
I don’t have any evidence for this, but I feel like Kaz was mildly unnerving as a child. Not in the way he was after the Reaper’s Barge, but just like. Constantly stares at people. Bites Jordie to get his attention. Will not talk to strangers unless it’s to tell them some really fucked up story. Like-
Kaz, four years old, staring wide-eyed at a store clerk:
The clerk: How are you doin-
Kaz: We had to put down our horse yesterday.
The clerk: … Oh-
Kaz: She’s behind our shed right now.
The clerk: …
Kaz: *skips away*
Kaz: you’re a twenty-nine year old man who writes in a journal with a drawing of a unicorn on it
Jesper: actually that’s a horse with a sword on his head. He guards my hopes and dreams
Y/N: Anyone else have the weird urge to lecture themselves?
Y/N, mimicking Kaz: Y/N, what are you doing?
Kaz: *Walking up behind Y/N* Y/N, what are you doing?
Y/N: I conjured him.
saw a guy with his wallet poking out halfway from his back pocket, kaz brekker would have loved him
Petition to Leigh Bardugo to off-handedly mention a jewelry heist with Kaz and someone else dressed as construction workers, if they're going to be in another book.
Kaz: “Of course I don’t play favorites among the Dregs.”
Kaz: “I value all the not-Inej’s equally.”
