Just a small fun fact: Sony currently has around 45 million people spending $60 a year for playstation plus subscription. It costs them roughly $1, per person. This includes the free digital game downloads you get (on average a digital download costs 25 cents for the company). So the math is simple $2.8 BILLION per year for subscription fee’s, minus about $40 million in total labor and overhead. And they still only pay 10% above minimum wage to every low level employee, call center rep, etc. Mcdonalds could increase the pay of all 75,0000+ employees in America by $5 an hour, and it would cost them roughly 3-5% of their total annual profits. No other expenses needed. They would just earn 5% less profits at the end of the year and still bring in BILLIONS. Imagine 75,000+ people making literally $5 an hour extra and how life changing that would be. But nah. Burger flippers and phone operators don’t deserve to make a living
