DIBP market stabilises after modest weekly dip
Diisobutyl Phthalate pricing in India recorded a small weekly decline but continued to trade in a stable and predictable manner. Indian DIBP prices closed at Rs 102.00/kg on December 22, easing Rs 1.00/kg from the previous week. Trading conditions remained calm, with limited daily variation following the earlier declines seen this quarter. On a fortnight comparison, prices are Rs 3.00/kg below the December 8 level of Rs 105.00/kg. The month-on-month view also shows softness, with values Rs 4.00/kg lower than Rs 106.00/kg on November 22. These movements underline a gradual easing process rather than sudden repricing. Indian DIBP prices have therefore moved lower in a controlled fashion. Longer-term benchmarks show a clearer adjustment. Prices are Rs 13.00/kg below the September 23 level of Rs 115.00/kg, and Rs 11.00/kg lower than the June 25 benchmark of Rs 113.00/kg. Over the past three months, the market has ranged between Rs 115.00/kg and Rs 102.00/kg, with the latest assessment sitting at the lower end of that spread. DIBP prices in India continue to be monitored against these established boundaries, with recent stability reducing short-term uncertainty.
