i cant exactly describe why but stars were exploding sounds like what being 18 feels like. just from the vocals which r this really gorgeous sllliiiightly off key almost yelling almost singing, the lyrics describing a gorgeous yet impermanent scene, and the mix of both the dread of the coming end of my teenage life and also the beauty of the moment that somehow keeps getting dredged up whenever i listen to it; it feels like an end. not THE end, just an end
i think the best and most interesting part of being a lovejoy is watching the band grow from what honestly is a very amateur production to being a much more polished and professional indie band, all the while keeping a very large fanbase the entire way through
they WERE my indie gateway drug, yes, but in all honesty, are you alright? really doesnt hold up to wake up and its over at all, and thats okay! but seeing that improvement, and seeing that improvement from other peoples eyes, especially when there are SO many eyes on them is just so fun
not enough ppl talk abt from studio 4 like it fuckin CLEARS are you alright ngl i love hearing these relaxed acoustic vibe takes on lovejoys discography
honestly i think the beths is just one of those indie bands. there is nothing that can quite replicate the emotions i feel when i listen to that band its amazing
i think theres something just so genuine and beautiful about the delivery of get warmer's title track
i havent listened to much of btmis discography, but get warmer is such a gorgeously earnest track that i always come back to and it just- AAUGH.... it does my heart in
such a beautiful song I SWEARRR
THIS FUCKING BANGS. RESPECTFULLY. THIS BANGS IMMENSELY. HOLY FUCKKKKKKKKKKK
