i’m good at understanding systems and how they work. when i think of the things i like from that perspective, that seems to be the common thread-- politics, languages, music theory. i’m good at finding flaws or figuring out how things could work better or picking out the gears that make the whole system work in order to better learn it.

i know a little bit about a lot, for some reason. even now i still play the wikipedia-surf-for-hours game occasionally. one time in grade 10 i had a teacher tell us about how when she was little, she would sit with her encyclopedia and do a whole report on dogs, because she just wanted to know more about dogs, and made her family listen to her dog presentation at the end. that was me. probably not the worst habit to have?

i have a lot of little soapboxes i suppose. ask me an opinion on anything, political or not, and i’ll be able to sum it up in a way that can hopefully make you consider your own opinion? so i guess i’m opinionated but i try to be articulate and you know, not a jerk also, and i guess that’s a valuable quality.

in a less concrete context i am a good musician! like i’m good at theory but also my performing/musicality sense is good. i’m a good pianist and a decent cellist and man, i miss performing and playing with people.

i’m pretty good at letting things roll off my back. i might talk forever about how stupid or annoying i’ve found it when someone is rude to me, but it takes a lot for something to get to me on a serious level.

my aesthetic is noT KNOWING HOW TO DESCRIBE MY AESTHETIC WHEN PPL ASK

no but I have never considered this before what is my aesthetic even, who even am I. I live in the desert. I like ufology and superheroes. I try to dress nice and am scared of talking to people. so like. small cosmic formal cactus. yeah, that sounds like me.

I literally typed my name (fayanna) into a random aesthetic generator bc I have no idea and it gave me “fairy emo revival retro trash.” honestly it’s not wrong.

milan: how do you think others describe you?

this is a good question. I try not to think about such things bc caring too much about what others think of me is one of my biggest weaknesses, but it would depend on the person. if they like me they may say something like, “she’s a good friend who is kind and passionate about her interests. she’s super into marvel. what a nerd.” buuuuut if they don’t care for me they may say “she’s this  unfunny, antisocial shut-in who can’t drive and cares too much about things that aren’t real. what a nerd.”

mumbai: what is your favorite scent?

oh man, definitely the smell of rain (who doesn’t love that?) Also, old books, blueberry muffins, and springtime. and there’s this cologne that I strongly associate with bucky barnes bc I’m a fuckin weirdo,,... I don’t know the name but I would recognize it if I smelled it
