Inés Estrada's latest short comic is a hilarious stoner comedy examining what really goes on in apartment buildings such as those in her native Mexico City, with gossip, parties, destruction, dreams and masturbation.

Zainab Akhtar interviewed the amazing Ines Estrada at Comics & Cola. As she mentions in the interview, Ines is working on a book for Breakdown Press! As Ines says, it's "about different people living in a building and how their intimate spaces are intertwined with this communal space that they all share. It is mostly inspired by my experiences from being in this building I live in right now, which was built in Mexico City in the '50s, and has around 40 different one-room apartments, many of which are shared by families." The book should be ready for CAB this November.
