Hello. I was wondering if you'd give me your thoughts on an unhealthy INTP? Like one who has depression and anxiety, and how they would go about becoming healthier
The best (fictional) example that came to my mind is dr. Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds when he's acting out of character after being abducted by Henkel.
As for how they would (ideally) cope: they would have to utilise their dominant Ti to sufficiently analyse themselves and the situation, along with their aux Ne to gather enough information about the situation, and figure out how everything is connected. Then they can consult their tert Si to see if they've ever encountered a similar situation before, and what coping strategies they might have gathered from that experience. They can use their inf Fe to connect to people (to talk their issues out) and ground themselves by way of gaining reassurance that they are cared for and not alone. However, TP types (and ITPs especially) are self-governed and very independent, so they might refrain from the latest coping mechanism.
