Advent Daily Fic Rec -- Day 14

A second fic by Infiniteeight, this is a Kirk/McCoy short one shot based on the reboot of the series. Her characterizations of both Kirk and McCoy are spot on, and she builds up to the humorous punch at the end masterfully.  She’s so good at taking a moment from canon and building a perfectly logical plot line that she makes it look easy.  All those alternate universe Enterprise crews led to a very fun situation. :)

Hold on to your kinks because no one writes a dark AU, sexy one shot like Infiniteeight.  I could do the whole Advent Fic Rec just from her stories.  Imagine a world where SHIELD is evil and Phil Coulson has no compunction about killing.  I love “Phil brings Clint in” stories and this one is a mirror, mirror version that made my glasses steam up.  Infiniteeight has a gift for tight plots and well-executed sex scenes; she’s got me reading Jim Kirk/Leonard McCoy fics since she switched over to writing that OTP.

i am looking for this fic where a portal opened up and people who did not have soul mate words could cross through it. Phil could, and he turned out to be the soul mate of clint, who was in the other universe. I think the portal had oppened up in the shield cafateria.
