infinite words: a discord book club.

join us on discord to discuss books, send recommendations, find new things to read and expand your literary horizons!

every month, all members suggest a book based on a theme or premise, which we then allow a generator to choose at random! after three weeks, discussion questions are posted for members to answer at their leisure. we also encourage members to make creations based on what we’re reading!

all aspects are always optional, for members to take or leave!

you do not need to be mutuals or following to join !

we ask that all members be 25+, just as the general age range of current members is late 20s/30s

could you provide a little more info about your discord book club? i don't want to join just to ghost and never participate, so i'd like to know more before jumping in? :)

no problem!

last time we did this, we took turns choosing a book for everyone to read - i’m gonna change that up a little so we all choose a book and then use a random generator to pick which we read!

we do that around the last week of the month, reveal the book on the 1st and then have roughly three weeks before we post discussion questions! whoever chose the book posts the questions and we all answer what we want when we want / general thoughts and stuff !!

it’s very lowkey ( right now there’s 4 of us but i usually max it out at around 8-10 so its not overwhelming ) and nothing is ever mandatory, but just for funsies ! and if you join but decide its not for you, that’s okay too. i’ll be making a more ~ official ~ post about it when i’m on a computer but when we did this last, our first book was daisy jones so with the show coming out it felt like time!!
