At a young age, Samuel had taken an interest in archery and the design of bows. While he self taught himself how to shoot a bow, he did have a teacher who taught him how to build bows and arrows. He got so good at it that he began creating his own designed work for bows.

To this day, he finds time to keep up his skills on making them and shooting.
