During my commute today I ragebaited myself by thinking about a time loop romance novel I recently read* where Groundhog Day wasn’t alluded to even once, including when the main character GOOGLED “how to escape a time loop”
#INFURIATING!!!!#if you can’t reach the bar of ACTUALLY GOOD hallmark movie round and round#just sit your ass at home#*I did not finish this book#there was also no fixing the loop it just timed out because a magical old lady died#not satisfying!!!!#idk why are you participating in a trope without any apparent interest in the foundational texts!!!!!!#overthinking beach reads as per usual#that was one line and the character was like there weren’t any results#really??? in a frequently explored fictional setup across several cultural mediums??? NO RESULTS???#lazy bad stupid statement
