(AU) Playing With Fire
Numb. She had grown numb ever since she came back to Seoul. What on God’s green earth made her come back to this horrible place? Okay. Seoul wasn’t horrible. She just happened to experience nothing but pain there. Well.....okay.....it wasn’t all bad. She had her fans. She had her title as queen of kpop. She had the fame and money. But all of that just.....it didn’t bring her much happiness these days. Was she thankful? Of course. She worked hard to make that name for herself. But.....ever since her priorities and wishes in life changed to something more domestic......life just didn’t feel right. Living didn’t feel right.
The park. She was at the park. It was all she could do to keep herself together whenever a little kid ran past her as she sat there on the bench. Kids. Children. She had a son once. But he only got to live a day before God deemed it necessary to take him away from her. She would never get over it. She would never be able to move on from it. Her only son and she never even got to raise him. Life was cruel. She almost wondered if perhaps she had died and simply didn’t realize that she was already in hell. Perhaps she was in hell all this time and just didn’t realize it. Sighing, she slumped over and curled up on the bench, planning to simply lay there till she either passed out, died of hunger. Who knows. She didn’t really care at this point......Why did she come back to Seoul? Why?
