ൠ - random headcanon

(( After the events of the movie, Olivia visited Basil often. She was a frequent visitor, and would help around with some of his cases as best she could. However, one thing that she couldn’t get out of her mind was Basil’s broken violin that was destroyed during her first visit. Even though it technically wasn’t her fault, she still felt pretty bad about it. He seemed really upset with her when it broke, and although he got a new one from somewhere else, she had a feeling that the destroyed violin was something Basil personally treasured. She just couldn’t sit still in 221 1/2 Baker Street knowing that one of Basil’s belongings was destroyed almost because of her.

So a few weeks later, Olivia gave him a surprise present. A new violin, one that she made as well. Maybe it wasn’t the greatest violin in the world (she got a lot of help from her father making it, but even he didn’t exactly know the construction of a violin) but she felt a bit better knowing that she replaced it. After all, it is the thought that counts right? ))

“B-But Ariel!” Flounder exclaimed at the mermaid, continuing to swim as fast as he can. “I-It’s so d-dark in here! The sooner we get out of h-here, the better it’ll be for the both of us!”
