Ink Calendar Marks Passage of Time Through Slowly Spreading Ink
“Ink Calendar” marks the passage of time by the slow spread of ink through paper. The ink is drawn from an inkwell by capillary action—each day a new number absorbs ink and becomes visible. The calendar was created by London-based designer Oscar Diaz back in 2007.

From the artist's website: “Ink Calendar” make use the timed pace of the ink spreading on the paper to indicate time. The ink is absorbed slowly, and the numbers in the calendar are “printed” daily. One a day, they are filled with ink until the end of the month. A calendar self-updated, which enhances the perception of time passing and not only signaling it.

Mudro osmišljen zidni kalendar - bez riječi sam koliko je genijalan. ;) Osmislio ga je britanski dizajner Oscar Diaz, a svojom funkcijom osim prikazivanja točnog datuma, izvrsno prikazuje onu tzv. prolaznost vremena, posebice na dnevnoj razini. Naime, tinta svojim polaganim i jednoličnim curenjem u predviđenom periodu potamni brojku (one su napravljene od dugačke trake čiji je početak uronjen u bočicu s tintom) današnjeg datuma i tako redom. Važno je spomenuti da je količina tinte u bočici (na kojoj je naznačeno o kojem se mjesecu radi) proporcionalna broju dana tog mjeseca. Kalendar je, osim što naravno sjajno služi svrsi, ujedno i izvanredna, inovativna te upečatljiva zidna dekoracija.
