Ink Fixatives?
The piece I'm working on is a stipple piece being done using a pen on canvas.
I'm currently using zinc white acrylic to hide ink smudges. which tend to occur only on the outside of the drawings (mainly due to the gloves getting dirty over time). The occurrence of these smudges had me thinking:
Do I need to apply some sort of fixative after I'm done? Just in case one of those pesky art gallery visitors decide to touch the canvas? If so, what kind would you recommend?
