(an unsung ode to a hoard of memories and wishes)
Tragedy
Some mountains,
You can never climb.
Some clouds,
They never fade.
Some rains,
Never cease,
Some screams,
Remain inked in our skin.
Some weepings,
Only the moon witnesses,
Some wishes,
Only the shooting stars can feel.
Some hopes
Are meant to be broken,
The sound when they fall,
Resemble shattered glass.
Some love letters,
Wish I could un-write like time.
Some entities,
Will never leave you,
They cross our path for a reason,
Reason being leaving behind a mark.
A scar that never fades,
An wound that never heals.
Some doors,
They shall never open
Some people,
They shall forever knock on them.
Some hearts,
Never stop bleeding,
Words embalmed,
They sleep in their wooden coffins.
Forever is a lie,
They've always told me,
I'll pray yours is,
But mine isn't.
Or until I'm over it.
