So swap Bros.... What do YOU think of the other sans' and papyrus'?

Um all these questions about using sans as a shield... did i miss some thing and if so WHAT? im soooooo curious :0

OH they stemmed from my response to a couple asks. Someone asked if papyrus’ temper could ever get out of control to the point that he might accidentally hurt Sans and how papyrus would handle that. which the answer was if it did, Sans would forgive him but Papyrus wouldn’t forgive himself.

And then someone else asked “would he even be alive to forgive him” and I got on a tangent about like there needing to be like an intent to harm/an attack to actually damage HP? And I used an example like if say a monster used to sans as a shield, even though if the attack was meant for the monster, if it hit Sans it would do damage because it was an attack/had a harming intent

And then the asks about monsters using sans as a shield happened in a hypothetical scenario XDDD which I think we’ve established would just be a really shitty plan on the monster’s part.

Like the monster would have to have no knowledge of sans pretty much other than like “oh that 1HP monster” or something because like everyone in Snowdin knows not to mess with sans. Like even the bun gang had to gang up on him to tie him up and shit and there were six of them lmao.

Wait wait wait. So First of all... did floweys dream turned out to be sanses dream? And if so, isnt this nice for him NOT to have a nightmare, or didn't He had nightmares before but getting those as soon as Frisk is going to make the genocide Run?

For the purpose of moving through the story, Flowey’s dream kind of became Sans’ dream, but there’s no deep ~dream connection~ or anything. The flashback was used as a transition from one point of view to another. But it is good for Sans to not have nightmares–he does have them but they have nothing to do with Frisk. Soulfell is going to be a single “run” through the Underground and it will be a Pacifist run. Frisk won’t be killing any monsters.

So some Bad science changed papy from the swee and innocent to the badass and cruel? Are we going to See what happend? So we can understand him better? (Ik my english is bad xD)

We will see what happened eventually! but not for a while! It will kind of be hinted at? but we won’t actually see what happened for a long time yet.

Is there a big difference in the Story of uf and ut I know in uf they're all rude and sans has to call papy 'boss' but is there a different Story like: paps never wanted to capture humans for assgore but He has to because idk He want to save sans?

Well Underfell is a unique AU in that it stemmed originally from character designs and not a full story. So everyone’s interpretation of Underfell is different. The only consistent thing really is “the underground but everything is edgy and everyone is hostile except Flowey” A lot of creators feed off each other’s ideas and things kinda stick, but really there’s no set story of Underfell.

In my take on Underfell, the world used to be like Undertale up until a point, then a decision had to be made. One choice led to Undertale as we know it, the other led to this version of Underfell. So this story is about how these same monsters’ changed experiences affect the story, affect the world, and affect Frisk’s progress through the underground.
