You start up Pokemon Crystal for the first time and are given the option to pick if you're a boy or a girl. You're a girl, so you should pick the girl option. Right?

Pick Your Gender is an interactive fiction game in which you are a girl boy gamer discovering yourself through the missing options present in binary choices.

There are content warnings at the beginning of the game, but if you're not highly sensitive to the listed topics, you should be fine.

inkJam 2023

A game jam from 2023-10-20 to 2023-11-04 hosted by paulloz. Welcome to the sixth edition of inkJam ! The inkJam is an annual community organ

The inkJam is an annual community organised jam focused on storytelling and narrative games written in ink.

When does it begin? The jam begins on Friday, October 20th, 9PM CEST.

Who can enter? Everyone is more than welcome, either alone or as part of a team.

Is there a theme? Yes, and it will be announced as soon as the jam begins.

What tools can I use? As long as you are using ink in a way or another, you can use absolutely anything! You can find a (probably incomplete) list of engines and integrations here.

Should I write my game in English? You can write in any language you like. Though, keep in mind that fewer people will probably be able to try a game only available in French or Czech than one available in English.

Where can I find help? You can join the community on inkle's Discord server, where a dedicated channel has been created.

How does the voting work? Once the jam is over (on Monday, October 23rd, 9PM CEST), the public will have a twelve-days period to review the games.⁣

Summary: You are Vega Greene, and you’ve just been reassigned to work at a remote science outpost. When you arrive, you discover that you have an unexpected, but not unwelcome, roommate.

The game describes itself as a 'lo-fi game to relax to', and it does not lie! From the interface and its calming palette, the background music chosen, or the vibes of it all, the game is reminiscent of those lo-fi playlist you'd find on Youtube. It is a very cozy game, with low stake and a chill storylet structure with a slow progress.

As always: + 1 for the cat, and being able to play with it!
