INKMARE WEEK day 2: painting/portrait

I believe I've mentioned something similar before. Ink likes to use Nightmare's body as an anatomical reference or just for inspiration. For him, Nightmare is a great source of inspiration for his art. The castle contains several paintings that Ink painted about Nightmare.

Also, Ink has a separate sketchbook for drawing things about the two of them. Most of these drawings are Nightmare naked 💥😈

Silly comment:Nightmare is completely naked,,,, nothing underneath, but only Ink can see his private parts hehehhaha💥

Oooh digital art 💥🤠💖 ggggrrr I have to try drawing a little more digitally 💥💥💥💀,,,, but it's not my favorite 💥😭💀

Well,,,, I tried a different way of drawing digitally (?) way outside my comfort zone in digital art,,,,, but it still reminds me of my traditional collage art 💥🤠

Headcanon(?) I think they really like "breakfast food" or coffee shops, especially Ink,,,,, for some reason 💥🤠

+ I also think that Nightmare is usually the one who cooks, because Ink is pretty bad at it, hehe.

Nightmare usually wakes up much earlier than Ink. He makes breakfast and leaves it by the bedside along with a small handwritten note saying something like: "Good morning Carino, here's your breakfast, I made your favorite. I've already gone to work... Anyway, I hope you like it, kissu kissu💖" Ink finds it very sweet of Nightmare, as he always does such sweet things for Ink, since one of Nightmare's love languages is acts of service 🍪☕💖🥺

Amazing how much I've improved in 1 year 💥🤠

°I really like this drawing, and I've commented on some very small details about it that I've already mentioned it several times on Instagram.

°The main detail I want to highlight is about Nightmare's eye; it doesn't normally have a dilated pupil, usually it doesn't dilate when he's near Ink.

Sometimes Nightmare's eye can change depending on his emotion or something else. When his pupils are not showing, it means he is calm, comfortable, and safe. When the pupil dilates, it can mean that he is paying attention to something, anger, or that he is certainly not comfortable.

When he is near Ink, his pupil doesn't show because he feels comfortable and safe next to him. But in this particular illustration, his pupil is showing as a way of saying "Ink is mine" and that he must protect him, which is why one of his tentacles is wrapped around him. Nightmare is afraid of losing him, and sometimes he shows this as a form of care and protection.

Ink was the one who made him want to change who he was, so he's very important to Nightmare, and it was also Ink who gave him a daughter (Moonlight) and something he can finally call family.

Hehe, I also like the subtle highlight on Nightmare's wedding ring heheh 💥🍪☕💖 The ring's color manages to stand out among the other colors, and I think that fits quite well the Idea/ Meanings of the drawing hehehe 👉👈🥺💖 silly silly

INKMARE WEEK day 6: connection/ trust

They both have a high level of trust in each other, knowing that neither would actually hurt the other on purpose. Ink is the one who has the most confidence, even a kind of "blind trust" in Nightmare. He knows that Nightmare would never let him fall, or that he would use his tentacles as some kind of threat against him. Ink doesn't mind if Nightmare wraps him in his tentacles🍪☕💖

Nightmare, however, even though he trusts Ink a lot, still has certain insecurities about trusting him. For example, if Nightmare reveals a secret, he knows that Ink will either forget it or end up telling someone else. Heheh But despite that, Nightmare still trusts him a lot, but just a little bit cautiously 💥🤠

A connection of body and soul, where both know when they feel good or not, even when neither says a word.

Sometimes Ink likes to stay next to Nightmare when he is reading a book, and he often reads out loud, but a few minutes later Ink falls asleep on Nightmare's shoulder hehe 💖💥

And also, Nightmare likes to watch Ink drawing, hugging him and admiring the drawing hehe

Yyyaay, Ink's birthday is tomorrow💥💥💥💥🤠

Well, the idea was to make a comic, but I simply forgot that Ink's birthday was tomorrow, so I just made some silly little thing.

Silly little headcanons about them 💥🤠I don't know, I just wanted to make them really silly.

Uuuhh, a little suggestive??? I,,,, I think(¿?),,, well, it doesn't necessarily show anything there, but I put a piece of paper over it just in case 💥🤠

I said this a few weeks ago on Instagram,,,,I think Ink would sleep naked/Half naked,,,I don't know exactly how to explain it,,, but somehow it makes sense to me haha 💥👀🤠

I have no doubt that Ink would have some "strange" habits when he goes to sleep/is sleeping, things like talking in their sleep, or taking up MORE space on the bed than necessary, and when Ink checks on them, Night is almost falling out of bed hahah 💥💥💥

And one of my favorites,,,,, I think,,,,, always, is that they always sleep hugging each other :3🍪☕💖 I think I've mentioned here before that one of their primary love languages is physical touch. Ink is most often the smaller shell, and Nightmare sometimes covers him with its tentacles hehe,,, Extremely silly :3 💥🍪☕💖

Hehe yes 👉👈🛐💖I have a lot of headcanons about the two of them, most of them are cute and silly little things. I have so many headcanons about them that I can't even remember them all haha 💥🤠.

I really enjoy sharing my headcanons about them, which is why I have a hashtag just for that (#inkmare headcanon). Talking about them makes me happy, and sharing my headcanons helps people understand a little bit of the perspective I try to convey with them.

Many, if not most, of my headcanons are based on ideas I've formed around them and how I ship them, as well as how I fit those headcanons into my "story." And I like doing this, I believe that talking about them brings a slightly different perspective from how most of the community portrays their relationship, something cuter and more meaningful 💥🥺💖
