My Tale of Inktober2019
October was unexpectedly busy, both RL and art-wise. My main mission was to get back to drawing after a long-long break, stick to daily schedule and do something quick and simple (from BBC Sherlock's alphabet as a prompt list) every morning before work. What it turned out to be:
"Mornings" and "daily" failed spectacularly. Some days were missing and I still can't make up my mind on timetable: unwinding with art after workday is great, but early mornings are the best for quiet meditation
Quick and simple needs more practice! A lot lot more practice...
Something around 3/4 of the alphabet is completed, not the whole, but I did what I wanted to do most and finished with my two favourite letters together just yesterday :)
Different techniques were tried and stepping out of comfort zone was tense but necessary
I need more practice in everything to reach desired skill levels
And I do want to evolve to become a good one, so that results would be no less satisfying then the process
I really love having art back into my life! For whatever reason I dropped it - it was just not right and now there's a lot to catch up on.
Overall, the road was bumpy and I cut more turns then I should but I think I managed to get to the end, not drop in the middle. It was weird, frantic, extremely fun and soothing experience. I'm happy that I participated. 31.10.2019
