Inktober - Let’s Redraw Ancient OCs Day 25

THIS WAS THE DAY I WAS WAITING FOR, it’s Jack and Jill! They were my favourites of the Fushigi na Mori characters and also characters I still really really like. One day when I have more money and space, I want to make them into twin dolls. I’m pretty sure I first designed these two not long after Kagamine Rin/Len were first released because I wanted cute twins as well. In the original pic, I messed up which eye colour is on which side, as they are supposed to be opposite to each other. They were also much lankier originally but gradually got shorter, as the other characters were already drawn in a slightly chibified style and Jack/Jill were meant to be younger than the rest.

Jill was the smart, analytical one, and often said really blunt things with a straight face, while Jack was a compete idiot, and yelled all the time. He got told off by Jill for being an idiot a lot but he was really devoted to her, and even wore the outfit in order to match with her even though he hated it because it was extremely frilly. In the Battle Royale version of the plot they were considered a single contestant.

Inktober - Let’s Redraw Ancient OCs Day 8

Still in 2003 - Nadeshiko Neko also had a friend with an even more ‘’’imaginative’’’ name - Aka Kitsune (...literally just ‘red fox’). In the first version of NN, she was some kind of adviser to Princess Nadeshiko who was also kind of like her babysitter, but in the other two versions where Nadeshiko wasn’t a princess, I honestly don’t even remember how she ended up in the household (because the only comics I drew were ones where she wasnt there yet and ones where she was already there). She was a typical mischievous fox girl. She also had these really ugly yellow triangles on her outfit for some reason.

Some of my favorites form #inktoner2018 I am glad that I was able to get most of them. Missed the last 3 days but this is the first year I successfully did a drawing a day. Next year I am planning on my own theme and it’s gonna be sick.
