hoookay, caught up with the Witch Hat manga too

i'm sad 😭😭😭 like really sad, the [REDACTED] with the guys is just so tragic i can't 😭😭😭 and the kids are so determined and adorable, i wish i could just keep them happy all the time, they deserve the world

gonna have to draw Olly sometime because he is my favourite and like... i just think he is neat aight? scruffy man with big sad eyes, grumpy and tired but also deep down a ray of sunshine and dedicated and burnt out and relatable, i kinda feel like he was custom-made for me to like lol

just look at him, isn’t he adorable feeling bad about the non-sentient pouches getting hurt

i very much enjoy Qifrey's atelier, such an adorable dynamic they got going on and then boom it's also sad, i LOVE it

i don't think i can say i dislike anyone tbh, even if i have a favourite i still very much love everyone here, i like how complicated this all is, i love the lore and the worldbuilding - honestly can't wait for the continuation but also art this delicious can't be rushed so i shall be patient

maybe i should go and work on my own things, huh

okay yea Witch Hat Atelier is good 🥹🥹🥹

so pretty, so emotional, so "practice makes perfect", so good with disabilities, i loved every minute :3 especially loved the plotline with the kid who is essentially colourblind, it was great that y'know, instead of fixing him it's more about accomodating him, i hope he becomes a great witch in the future :3 i also hold out hope for the poor shy kid from the exam, it's so sad :(((

time to read the manga though because what do you mean it ends THERE??? like excuse me, i want to know more???

also am not one for shipping at all, but those two are practically married. you know the ones, the gentle but scary one and his grumpy but kind husband. yes. i see the vision and y'all are very right.

also also. this. perfect moment, 10/10 relatable. i feel this in my bones typing this past 2 AM, already regretting life choices in advance.

okay we're turning into a witch hat blog for a hot minute because it's just that goooooood

queueueued some stuff and i'll probably do so more in the future, if you don't want spoilers they will be tagged as witch hat atelier and witch hat atelier spoilers for the truly sad ones :D like not to be shipping because i usually really don't do that but the gays make me sad so yea :"D

oooh i get to play as Ashera in a longer game!!! i'm very excited but also a little nervous because i never really played a bard right before, but also because Ashera is very flirty - with the caveat that she learnt how to flirt from a bunch of middle-aged drunk pirates and thus isn't actually good at it - so i can only hope i can play her right, but it'll be very fun :3

as soon as i finish thinking about this Anton snipped and we finish the Sae hometown shenanigans i'll polish/fix up her backstory and do some math and some such, i'm actually so very happy rn :D

yea did not manage to finish Whitey's main reference image but i did fish together some old arts for his and Karcsi's profile (and also added the Dusk&Dawn spirit bunch) so this is as ready for Artfight as i'll ever be i suppose :D

ohhhohoho, this sunday i get to be dm for my own little adventure that i made up and am putting together :3

i still need so so so many things (pictures mostly lol but also some monsters and a travel montage kinda thing) but it'll be great :D

so y'know while Sae was the first among my characters to hit 0 hp during a fight, they were saved the second it happened and were able to fight on - on that technicality Anton gets the crowning achievement of first character of mine to lay on the floor unconscious while friends try to stabilise him :"D

tbh i'm lucky he lasted this long without getting to 0 hp/dying and i'm also lucky the fight ended without me having to roll death saves, knowing my track record with dice when rolling for him, Anton would've died for real probably :""D

i did roll two nat1-s so Anton had his facial features rearranged and he also had to choose a party member to become cursed, fun times :D (one of those was with the rifle again, that thing needs fixing lol)

session was fun though, i'll have doodles of it and some for last time when Sae and party wrapped up the Underdark adventures, there was some fun stuff there too :D
