Guys I have a Game Theory(tm)
What if Jyugo is a completely artificial person from Rokudo's DNA and that's why he doesn't know about him The idea isn’t completely impossible considering Jyugo doesn’t know much about his past and the fact that he’s never really wanted for anything. Also with the way that all he knows is prison life, and why he was there in the first place since I doubt they’d just allow there to be an actual fucking infant in their facility. This also could’ve led him to be the “Perfect Candidate” or taget for the man with the scar and Elf. Not to mention it would make for another really great character arc for Jyugo and get him to be more accepting of himself, and may lead him to look into his past more.
I binge watched like the whole show yesterday so you guys better be ready for all the nanbaka fanart I'll be doing xd
