To me, even though I love other flowers as well, nothing beats the beauty of a rose! I am always enchanted by their allure and I am especially delighted when it is a rose that I have grown and nurtured in my own small garden. This is rosa ‘Belinda’s Dream’, a very healthy shrub rose, that comes in a lovely pink shade and produces big sumptuous blooms with a light raspberry fragrance. I enjoy cutting my roses and bringing them in no matter what is the season or the occasion. Even though pink is not exactly a traditional autumn color, it works for me.
