It was still early morning. Not early enough for it to be mind numbingly annoying, but enough for Jim to be able to set up for class without any of the staff thinking it was out of the ordinary.
Of course, he had his helper, Lizzy, assisting him with the set up. There wasn’t much to do, but any bit was more than appreciated. He had just sat down at his desk when his demonic urges crept into his mind.
Now? At this time of day? Would she even go for it?
Playing it off, he made it seem as though a book accidentally fell off his desk. “Lizzy, sweetie? May you please get that book for me?”
