ZZZ
Oh boy how the excitement fizzled now that the cat is out of the bag.
Somehow I see no innovation in Nikon’s Z series. There is nothing of the camera that has not been done before or couldn’t be outdone by the competition. Sensor? Viewfinder? Chassis design? All these could be improved, infused with innovative design rather than just making the Z a copycat version of the Sony A7, Olympus OM-D E-M5, Canon EOS M5, Panasonic GH1 and FujiFilm XT-1. Notice I cite the first gen models from each stable bearing that exact same design queues?
The Z series design is an exact copy of these OLD, UNREMARKABLE and very much “INSIDE THE BOX” cameras. That is what Nikon has become and it is heart wrenching to see them stick themselves in the bottom of the pile to be “JUST ANOTHER ONE”.
I’m sure they’ll sell a ton of these cameras. All the best yo!
And what’s with the initial lens line up? They look like F-mount AF-s lenses with the F-to-Z adaptor built in. WTF? Who are you kidding NIKON?
