So I'm going to university and I study philosophy and I swear that as much as I hate anachronisms, it's simply impossible for me not to correlate the ancient Greeks with modern terms for some situations and I still can't understand HOW they treated women like a futile accessory and at the same time they had FUCKING GODDESSES who were very fucking important. like I know gods are a different concept today BUT THEY WERE REPRESENTATIONS OF IMPORTANT THINGS. AND YOU WANT TO TELL ME THAT EVEN IF YOU HAD THE FUCKING GODDESS OF WISDOM YOU WOULDN'T GIVE SOME IMPORTANT POSITION TO A WOMAN JUST BECAUSE SHE IS A WOMAN? YOU HAVE THE GODDESS OF MARRIAGE AND YOU CHEAT ON YOUR WIFE WITH SOMEONE PROBABLY YOUNGER THAN YOU. MY BROTHERS WHAT ARE YOUR PROBLEMS? You know that misfortunes caused by goddesses are most of the time worse than those caused by gods.
