My heart melts... It took me way too long to finish this and I can`t decide if this should be the next chapter cover. But well, curently I can`t think of something better "orz
I`m sorry.
Btw. while finishing this I heard "Solo para ti" by Alvaro Soler in a loop for hours. It just so much fits my current mood.
He there, I just finished a chapter, now I will rack my brain for a fitting cover. Meanwhile, please have a little preview for chapter 27.
While working on it, I listened to Wired Live (No Escape Mix) in a loop. (I`m just so hyped that AOE is finally continued <3)
Please let me know if you liked it <3
When Tahomaru opened his eyes, he saw an unfamiliar ceiling. Well, no. He knew this ceiling... Or...? He wasn't sure.
His thoughts were somehow sluggish and viscous. Something was wrong, but he couldn't say what it was. Daylight shone into the room through a window covered by thin sand-coloured curtains. He heard a breath and took a moment to realise that it was his own. He breathed calmly and evenly into the room, gathering his thoughts.
Ah, this was his room. His new room. There was a duvet on top of him. Yes, it was his too. The orange-coloured cover with the bright squares. He liked it.
He turned to the side, searching with his eyes for his mobile phone. There, on his bedside table. His hand lifted, groping for the phone. But something was strange.
For one thing, something hurt. The skin on his chest and the muscles underneath were itching.
Secondly, his hand didn't find its target, instead he fumbled around with his fingers, so disorientated that the device fell to the floor. What was that all about?
Disgruntled, he turned and reached over the edge of the bed for his phone. More pulling on his body, itching and a slight burning sensation. When his fingers touched the surface, he finally realised what was wrong.
