Yesterday: got home from work, knew I wouldn’t sleep, so I cleaned my kitchen and my bathroom. Fell asleep around 12pm. Woke up at 2pm. Maintenance came by to fix my swamp cooler and didn’t believe that the “high cool” setting was once an option (first of all. I lived here last summer and it was definitely an option. Second of all, why would that be a setting on my switch if it wasn’t an option?). I politely told him I was pretty sure I was right, and he very condescendingly said “I’ll check it out if that makes you feel better.” WELL I WAS RIGHT. Anyway.
Cleaned my room, went to the store, cleaned out the fridge, walked the dogs, took a melatonin around 5:30 pm. So sleepy by 6:30. Asleep by 7. And I didn’t wake up until 7:30 am. I COULD CRY. I need that sleep so badly and I was sure it wouldn’t come bc melatonin normally doesn’t do anything for me. AND I WOKE UP TO A CLEAN HOUSE!
