At LONG last... The full collection of prop laser guns. A bunch of these are altered water pistols. A few are Nerf (or Nerf knock-off) toys. Two actually started out as toy laser guns, and still light up and make the noises when triggered. They are all now as shiny and bright as I could possibly make them, and have a bit of a worn-out patina to fit the idea of weapons as relics of a far bygone age of violence that the Earth of the Barbarella universe no longer embraces. Chainmail! I started with the loin cloth and belt I made for Savage Swords, and then made a few more accessories. The cast has been great about creatively using more abstract costume pieces, so while I originally planned on these being belts or capes, they've found some fun different ways to drape them. @austincreativereuse has a whole bunch of really sweet materials samples that I used for accent pieces. That sweet proof of concept moment when you finally feel confident that this ridiculous costume plan is actually going to WORK. Everyone has their base costumes, they actually *want* to wear them to rehearse in, there's a nice variety in styles even without the accent pieces, and they aren't just tolerating the weird chainmail pieces, but are *actively fighting* to get a turn with them and coming up with weird new ways to wear them.
