Ashley Black was born with a debilitating disease called Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA). As a child, she refused to accept her disability and spent her first 20 years defying every doctor's prognosis. Ashley quickly surprised everyone including her doctors by becoming a competitive gymnast.
In college, Ashley Black worked in nutrition for a major fitness chain after college. Her desire to overcome her disability and her love of helping others to do the same for themselves were both cultivated here.
