DARK PEARLS Style: #melomel Meadery: @beecraftmeadco Abv: 13.8% Rating: 🍯🍯🍯🍯🍯 Last but certainly not least. Dark pearls. They use local Georgia piedmont sourced honey in this brew along with fermented whole blackberries and juice from black currant and blueberries. Sweet and fruity on the nose and just as sweet and fruity on the palate. Knowing its made from blackberries i thought it would be a little more tart but is nicely rounded out more sweetly by the currant and blueberry. Blackberry is the more dominant flavor here followed by a distinct separate honey taste mixed with it. We enjoyed this mead so much we took a bottle home to share with friends and family.
