"Hi!" her face is bright immediately as she opens the door to Connor, pulling him into an embrace before she welcomes him over the threshold.
"God, I hope you're hungry, I went a little overboard with the food," she admits, having neglected to downscale her mother's handed down pot-roast recipe.
"The meat needs a little more time, though. It's a nice night, though--You wanna go have a drink on the fire escape while we wait? I can make us some mojito's."
