This... isn’t the first time. Zach had always liked the fact that he could break into someone’s home easily - it was a trivial thrill for him even though now it was made easier with the devices Max had tinkered for him. The door clicked open easily. Zach quirked a small smile as he twisted the doorknob with ease and let himself inside. He was never someone who was curious about another’s living quarters - still, he did give a look around. Nothing that interests him - just as expected. Cerulean hues scanned through the living room - it was fairly neat. Now all he had to do was wait.
His ears perked up when footsteps drew closer. The person he intended to visit had finally arrived. “Ah, there you are,” he greeted her, chin jutted out as if to say she was late. “I was wondering if you’d ever come back,” he lamented, before taking a drag from his cigarette. “I hope you don’t mind me breaking into your liquor cabinet. I was..... getting bored....” Zach took a sip of the whiskey he had poured himself before addressing the woman again. “Needed to fill in the time.” The confusion in her features were expected and Zach spoke without giving her a chance to protest. “The name’s Zach Gordon. Gordon, Zach, I don’t really care what you call me.” His gaze was burning through her. “I’m resourceful and... your... front door isn’t as secure as you’d think it is.” Zach gestured at her. “You have made quite a name for yourself. Sit down, Miss LaRue. We have business to discuss.”
