Sitting outside of Daniel’s office, Elijah had his head in his hands. Today, was bad. He knew that from the moment he woke up. Lucifer was already up, talking, ranting about how sick of this place he was. He hadn’t shut up. Not for a moment as Elijah got his food, his pills, his shower done for the day. He was sick of it. Sick of being alone with just Lucifer talking about ways to kill people. Relishing in what they’d done while they were free. Moaning about how he’d wanted to do so much more to that guard that had gotten them locked away for six months together. Together. Alone. Elijah had always been so afraid of being alone and now he’d gotten a good hardy taste of it. Worse yet, the constant chatter of Lucifer in his ear this morning had driven him into a rage that had them arguing for hours before Lucifer finally left him alone. It wouldn’t last. It never did.
Only, with Lucifer gone, Elijah was left feeling even more empty than he had with the annoying buzz of gore and memories in his ear. The loneliness drove him to the doctors office and when whoever Daniel had last been seeing left, Elijah stood up and walked into his office in tears. His body tense and face covered in a hood he wished he could hide even more in. He stood near the door way, just inside the room for a moment.
“I know we don’t have an appointment.” He managed to get out. “But I need help, Doctor Carter.” Elijah’s voice broke at the admittance. “I am losing my fucking mind and I can’t stop it. I am just- Whats happening to me? I don’t wanna be near people and I don’t wanna be alone. Lucifer left and I need- I need- I don’t know. I don’t know.” He fell back into a chair across from Doctor Carter and pushed his face into his hands.
