SEND ME ❥ FOR YOUR MUSE TO CUDDLE UP NEXT TO MINE WHILE ASLEEP ON THE COUCH
Granted, Peter still had their doubts about this... extended visit in Tink's apartment. The freedom that came with living inside of your transportation, they had become fully accustomed to the lifestyle. Always on the go, and even when stationary, being inside their van came with a sense of movement. At any moment, they could clamber into the front and be on their way, no destination, no motive, other than to just go.
And while a younger, considerably less matured Peter might have jumped at the chance to move in with their best buddy, the same couldn't be said for the twenty-five year old currently lounging on her sofa. In actuality, they hadn't planned on staying for this long in the first place. It was quite late, after all; maybe they could dip out unnoticed, send a text before she awoke with some excuse as to their absence.
A quick glance towards the blonde affirmed that she was indeed, out like a light. Blonde tresses obscuring part of her face, mouth dropped open in a quiet snore. They snorted in spite of themselves, shifting to move the duvet around both of them to solely cover Tink. Which, while unexpectedly chivalrous, turned out to be the wrong move. Peter tensed as a soft murmur ghosted past her lips, petite frame inching to press against their side like a key fitting snugly into a lock.
Well... shit. Rolling his eyes, Peter glanced around awkwardly, assessing the remaining options at this point. After a minute or two had passed, they finally slumped back against the cushions in defeat, a slender arm draping over Tinkerbell's shoulders. "G'night, Tink," they murmured, lowering their head to rest gently atop hers.
Maybe... just for tonight, they could stop and stay a while.
