less than two days in, and he’s ended up in detention. he can’t even call ignorance of the rules ( it may be a magic school but it wasn’t as though he’d stepped into an alternate reality ) or ignorance of the consequences equally. he knew what he was getting himself into. he saw a scuffle between a couple of students, decided that breaking it up was the only option. he’s always been tall, broad, and that hasn’t changed much with this body. his left hook, however, evidently has. he hadn’t broken the kids nose, despite all the blood, but he was sent to detention. he’s taken a seat near the back, away from what he can only assume is the usual crew, and keeps his head down. ( he doesn’t regret what he did, will probably do it again, but he’d prefer not to draw too much attention to himself. ) his glance only tips up when someone takes the seat beside him, evidently late to detention. yikes. he leans over, hands braced on the desk as he does. it strikes him he doesn’t look like a student. “ dude -- you know you’re late to the party, right? ” @ofadan
