Ichabod needed a very particular book to further his studies at the University. However, that book was only available upon request, which had to go through the head of the Magisters to get it. All well and good, except that that man was Jasper Barr, a man Ichabod had categorically avoided for as long as he’d been able to.
There was nothing wrong with the man, not really. No, it was all on Ichabod himself, his awkwardness and his inability to just...exist normally. And he was intrigued by the elder man, perhaps in a way some would consider unprofessional.
Well, he could not think of that now, when he had been directed to a classroom, an empty classroom, save for only himself and Jasper.
“Uh, Mr. Barr? I was directed here by the secretary. I’ve a question for you regarding a text. For my research. If you...if you have a moment?”
