Coming back to Briar Ridge was supposed to have been a break for Cameron. After months - years if he was being honest - of letting his goal of legitimising his family's pharmaceutical company consume most of his life, facing extreme burnout, and being ordered by his psychologist to step away from the company completely, he'd moved to Briar Ridge with the intention of resting, of taking it easy, and spending as much time with his daughter as possible. But in a rash decision he had spent less time planning than any other decision in his life, Cameron had bought Luther's Rare & Well Done shortly after moving back. The original Luther had mentioned he was selling so that he could be closer to his family and Cameron couldn't stand the thought of Juliana not getting to grow up going to the diner he'd grown up spending so much of his summers in. The place held too many fond memories to see it being sold off to some developer. But after a week of being a restaurant owner, Cameron was beginning to question if he had really made the right choice.
Needing to clear his head, to stop his mind from racing, he'd headed to one of the few places he could always think properly at. It had been years since Cameron had visited the lighthouse, he didn't even know if Mr. Waldrof or Thea were around any longer, but even just sitting on one of the many boulders lining the coastline, and watching the waves roll in was calming. He took in a deep breath, simply enjoying the view and letting it settle him.
