Okay, so I saw your post from a few days ago and some of my "headcanons" I feel are pretty obvious, like Abigail being Rasmodius's bio-daughter from an affair which ended his marriage to the swamp witch. Or Marnie eventually getting over Lewis and finding someone who treats her right (I like Marlon for that). But a few of my ideas I'm not sure how common/obvious they are.

For example Rasmodius, Marlon, Caroline, and Mona (person buried in the cemetery) were all a part of a fantasy/D&D style adventuring party. Given her purple hair and her behavior, I think most people agree that Abigail is Rasmodius's daughter and his affair with her mother led to his divorce and his ex being sealed away. Given how often we see Abigail lurking outside the wizard's tower AND visiting Mona's grave, what if she were adopted? Caroline would be in a position to care for a child, and I feel like Pierre is too prideful to care for an affair baby, if he were the one cheated on, but I think he could be convinced to adopt his wife's friend's baby. Abigail may or may not know, but she absolutely feels a connection to her bio-parents, thus her visits in the forest and the cemetery.

Another headcanon I have is that everyone is kind of in a position to take over someone else's role in the community, if time were to progress. Say something happened to Lewis and he needed to retire (or otherwise has passed away), I think Robin, as the most community oriented and the one to greet you when you first arrive is in the perfect position to take over as mayor. Meanwhile, Leah is absolutely an artist, but she also is a woodworker, so she would take over as carpenter. Do you think Abigail would take over Pierre's? Absolutely not. The wizard does mention wanting an apprentice though, and who do we know wants to go on a grand adventure? She could also take over for Marlon as well. Meanwhile, Maru kind of fills a similar role to her father, pursuing her own research in engineering, while helping the town. I'm kind of losing my train of thought, given the late hour, but I promise something is there... Shane takes over for Marnie, Elliott or Penny take over the library... I could totally see Sam or Alex taking over the general store while Emily takes over the saloon.

I'm falling asleep, so I'll leave this here. I'd love to get your take on these, though!

Can you please do a freak ranking of all the bachelors and explanations as to why? I just wanna know where Harvey falls

Sorry, this took a moment to get to anon! I lowkey had to think about this myself tbh— especially seeing as how I write, the bachelor's freak levels vary pretty differently depending on the topic)

Sam - My tendency to write Sam with a petplay kink aside— I view him as the freakiest on this list because he's the most outspoken of all the bachelors imo. I can see him being the type to introduce new things into the bedroom or at least letting his partner know that it's okay to come to him with an idea on how they can spice up their sex life.

Elliot - Similarly to Sam, I feel like he'd rank at #2 because Elliot strikes me as an outspoken person as well, so that makes the marriage feel open and comfortable for speaking out about kinks and what the other wants to do in the bedroom. But I do also view him as a very gentle lover with a hidden soft dom side, so that view of him is what ranks him at #2.

Alex - You'll see this same talking point with Sebastian, but I feel like Alex is one of the bachelors who's beginning to be a bit more on the quieter side? He lives with his grandparents, and I've already mentioned a bit ago that I kinda headcanon that he's a bit of an old soul when it comes to certain things, so I think that would bleed into his freak tendencies a bit. Don't get me wrong, he's still willing to do some freaky stuff with you, but I can also imagine that it would realistically take him a bit since he has to get comfortable with you as well as sort of start to lean out of the mindset of "Ah crap, Im at my grandparents' house. I can't let the freak in me out too much."

Sebastian - Like I warned in Alex's point— My reason for putting him at #4 is that he's just quiet? Not that being quiet necessarily makes someone less freaky (after all, I also do headcanon him to be a bit of a sleeper agent too 😔), but I do think that him being an overall shy-ish type of person makes him less likely to let those demons out and about, which would give him the outer appearance of someone who's not that kinky. (But if we're ignoring outer appearances and focusing on the inside, then I definitely would place him at #2).

Shane - Okay, admittedly, it was a lil' difficult ranking him, mostly because although I enjoy writing him as a freakster since it's fun for me, on a more realistic note. I don't see him as being that freaky? Not because he doesn't have any kinks, necessarily, but more so, it's just because it's about getting him to that point of being comfortable enough to engage in that sort of behavior with you. Outside of that, though, once he's at that point, his ranking can definitely be boosted up to #3 or #2.

Harvey - I already don't write him as that freaky, and it's for a reason 😔. Outside of him being a lil' boring imo, I also view him as pretty vanilla. Harvey strikes me as the type of guy who probably wouldn't be into the "harder" kinks (Spanking or just anything that harms you, etc.) because he doesn't really like the idea of hurting you, even in a sexual manner. All in all, he strikes me as vanilla.

SFW Stardew Older Bachelor Headcanons: Favorite Romantic Gesture

Harvey: Breakfast in Bed. Harvey loves taking care of you, and he loves paying attention to very small details. All of this comes together when he makes you breakfast in bed. It's not something he does often, but if the stars align, you'll wake up to a cup of coffee on your bedstand. This means that Harvey is out doing the morning chores and that you're not supposed to move. That's okay, because it won't be long until he's back with a tray. Fresh orange juice, a pastry, eggs cooked just the way you like them, or anything else that means "perfect breakfast" to you. Napkin folded into a flower, a small bouquet in a tiny vase, lots of little touches that make it feel like more than just an ordinary breakfast. He'll bring a cup of coffee in and sit with you while you eat. From there, chances are good you'll spend the rest of the morning in bed together.

Shane: Surprise Gifts. Shane's a really, really observant guy, though it's not always obvious. But it's true! He's always watching, so he picks up on a lot of small things. This comes into play when he wants to do something special for you. He's not much for grand gestures, but he has a way of giving you gifts out of the blue. No, not just gifts. Perfect gifts. He stays up late scrolling through online shops to find the perfect t-shirt to replace the one you ripped last week. He messages collectors all over the world to find the exact replacement for a stuffed animal you lost when you were a child. He wanders out to the barn one day with a tool you didn't even know existed that solves an issue you've been having for months. You don't have to tell him what you need, you don't have to ask: he just knows, and it's his favorite way to show he cares.

Elliott: Writing Love Letters. What else would it be? Elliott has so many thoughts to share, and writing is the best tool he has to express them. He loves writing down all the little thoughts he has about you during the day, then slipping the paper beneath your pillow before you lie down. Small observations ("the bit of hay in your hair remind me of the tumbling branches of a willow tree"), reflections on what you mean to him ("even as I sit here alone, I feel you near me, your warm presence permeating to the deepest corners of my heart"). If you're apart for longer than a day, you can expect a full letter when you return. It never feels cheesy, it never grows old. It's just Elliott in his truest form, presenting his love for you in a way you can hold in your hands and revisit whenever you need to.

Had another crappy day. Got a request for Harvey cuddling headcanons, but I’m gonna do all the older bachelors because I need it.

Older bachelor cuddling headcanons

Harvey: I hc Harvey as having long, heavy limbs. When you cuddle up together you can really feel their weight over you. I see him as someone who has trouble sleeping, so he’s not big on cuddling before/during sleep. Sometimes, though, you’ll wake up with a warm chest pressed up against your back. There’s an arm laying over your torso, and another sneaking under your neck. If there’s time, Harvey likes to wake up slow like this. If there’s isn’t, he’ll pull you in close and hug you tight before getting up to make the coffee.

Shane: Likes to be in contact with you no matter what you’re doing. So if you’re sitting on the couch, he’s sitting there too, and he’s got at least some part of his body touching yours. Expect to get hauled up into the crook of his arm or pulled onto his lap. He’s a full contact cuddler too. Gonna be rubbing his chin over your shoulder or squeezing at your thighs and belly. Loves getting his legs all tangled up in yours. Can be a little needy, but will make sure you’re the most comfortable you’ve ever been.

Elliott: Elliott spends a lot of time at his writing desk. Usually that means he’s spending time alone, but if he’s editing or not in a particularly productive frame of mind he’ll have you come sit on his lap. He likes it when you sit sideways and wrap your arms around his neck. Even better if you lean your head against his shoulder. He’ll drop kisses on your head as he writes, and if he’s looking to be distracted he might “accidentally” keep tickling at you with his quill. Stick around and he may eventually carry you off to the bed to nap together.

Morning sunlight streamed through the curtains into the kitchen. The kettle chimed ding just as Shane stood yawning in front of the fridge, coffee mug in one hand, last night’s pizza rolls in the other. Soft footsteps padded across the floor. Julia appeared, hair a tangled mess, her shirt slightly rumpled from sleep. She lifted a hand to cover a yawn, mumbling,

“Why does it smell like pizza this early…?”

Shane glanced at her, eyebrow arched, a smirk tugging at his lips. Before she could even reach for a glass of water, he leaned down and kissed her suddenly. Julia startled awake instantly. Pulling back only a little, Shane licked his lips with a teasing hum.

“Mmm, it tastes like someone’s been nibbling on pizza rolls.”

Julia’s eyes flew wide, her cheeks burning red.

“What?! I just woke up, when would I even eat one?!”

“Oh, really?”

he raised a brow, unconvinced, then shrugged.

“Guess it carried over from last night then.”

She blinked in disbelief before swatting his arm.

“Shane!”

He only burst out laughing, grabbing a plate.

“Come on, don’t be mad. I’ll split them with you.”

Julia crossed her arms, pouting as he set the pizza rolls down.

“Who eats pizza in the morning, Shane?”

Her tone was sharp, but her voice trembled like she was holding back a laugh. Shane gave her a sly look, shrugging casually.

“Well, me… and you.”

“I did not!”

Julia shot back immediately, her face still scarlet.

“I haven’t even brushed my teeth yet! When would I have snuck one?!”

Shane chuckled, shaking his head.

“Exactly. That’s why I said it tasted like pizza rolls—”

“Stop right there!”

Julia clapped her hand over his mouth. He froze, eyes glinting with mischief, before gently curling his fingers around her wrist. Leaning closer, his voice dropped, smooth and teasing.

“Then maybe I should test again… see if it tastes like coffee this time instead.”

“Shane!!”

she squeaked, her laughter spilling out despite herself. Their laughter filled the kitchen, turning the noisy morning into something warm and bright.
