It was quite the sight—Susie actually doing something she was getting paid to do. Elijah needed some organizing done in the studio, and there was a time in Susie's life when she was obsessed with organizing. She even had a YouTube channel for tips and tricks. Though it lasted only a few short months during her late teens, the skills she learned stuck with her. For someone so sporadic and constantly shifting to the next thing, it was surprising how meticulously she kept things organized and clean.
She was just finishing up, sliding the last color-coordinated file into the cabinet she had picked up from the store earlier. “I think that’s it,” the blonde announced, sitting back down on the floor. She glanced up at Elijah, who was a few feet away at his desk, engrossed in his own work. A few moments passed with no response. Susie let out a silent huff.
“GOD.” her melodic voice echoed in the office. “I don’t think I’ve ever been this hungry in my entire life. I’m malnourished. Could eat a horse. Or whatever people say...” She barely paused to let Elijah respond. “I could go for some sushi. But like take out... some tuna rolls sound so good. What do you think ?”
