Scenes From My Walk (Yesterday) Parker’s Thread Waisted Wasp or Prionyx thomae I came across several insects yesterday that I hadn’t seen, that I recall, before. This wasp looks like several other black wasps with thin waists in the area. They are often predatory or and are identified by their prey or habits.
