His pelvis is completely shattered. Tail is broken too. Operation to fix his pelvis is too expensive, so mum brought him home. Bill is £600. Mum glares at me as if its my fault its that expensive.  Dad keeps talking about wanting to put him to sleep. Thor has 6 weeks in a cage to heal naturally. If he doesn’t heal well... Well. On the plus side, he’s perky, bowl movements aren’t affected and he has feeling in his legs... so I’m hopeful. Mum keeps snapping and yelling at me as if its my fault he got run over or that he had to go to the vet.  I wish I had the money to just pay for it myself and tell her to shut up. Our cats are important and its our responsibility to get them medical help when shit happens. Don’t shit on me for having to bully you into being a responsible pet owner. I want to pay to get all the girls neutered and checked over, I don’t care how much it will cost. It needs to be done. But no. Mum procrastinates. I know she has to pay for the household stuff too but it was her fucking decision to breed cats. It was her decision to hoard all these cats. ffs. I’m nauseous, head is light. I’m ill. So.. yeah. Fuck this week.

Probably has a broken pelvis. A lot of bruising on the lower abdomen. Fly eggs all over his body, suggesting he was either so out of it he didn’t care to scare off the flies or that he was unconscious. Maggots in some of his toes. Fast heart-rate and dehydrated.  They’ve shaved off his tail because the eggs were so bad there and are currently stabilizing him. Thor is spending the night at the vets. Probably have an x-ray tomorrow to get an idea of how bad the damage really is.  Chances are though, he’ll just have to stay in a cage for the next 6 weeks and heal the pelvis naturally. Didn’t get much sleep, so just tagging you guys in this for the update rather than individually contacting.  Going back to sleep now. Thank you both for being awesome and being there for me and Thor-butt <3
