So way back in 2011 I had a combined blog with @happinessbrand7, @darlingnerddoll, and @onceiwasstardust and this stupid poptart cat video went viral on YouTube. My first reaction upon seeing it was "I could stitch that!". So I did. For 5 days straight I did nothing but work my job at the gas station and stitch. I had the finished piece posted within a week of the video hitting its peak. And our little blog got a lot of traffic. My stitching ended up on icanhascheezburger and a bunch of other sites and now is all over Pinterest as one of the top results when you search for Nyan Cat. It was a fun month or so, and the project rekindled my love for cross stitch and has kept me stitching and patterning ever since. I've held on to the original piece for all of these years, and decided to finally frame it and display it in my room, because I'm proud of this silly little cat and its part in my history as a cross stitch enthusiast and blogger. I'm on mobile now, but later I'll link to the original blog posts for you all to laugh at how cool I thought I was 6 years ago.
