I have mixed feelings on “____ hours of _____ facts to fall asleep to” videos. Because, on one hand, the deeply cynical part of me knows that the reason these videos are made aren’t because the creator is guaranteed to particularly care about ADHD people’s sleep needs, or even the subject they’re talking about. They just know it does well algorithmically (long watch time), and somebody not really paying attention to it means they can afford to make the video less polished, especially if it’s specifically titled as a video to fall asleep to. This problem is amped up considerably because my favorite thing is Pokemon, which people love to use for monetary gain without actually giving a shit about the franchise. I don’t want to reward that type of thing with my watch time.
But at the same time. I would like to listen to somebody talk about Pokemon in a soft voice while I go to sleep :(
