1. So what are your thoughts on the rumors that the Ministry of Magic is questioning whether you should stay at Hogwarts or not?

“Oh, that. Well, I can’t say I’m surprised that they’re choosing the easiest way to deal with the problem. The easiest for them at least. I’m mostly worried about disappointing my parents, and I guess it’s not the best example for my sister either… But there’s nothing I can do about it at this point, is there?”

6. Do you have a quote or saying that you live by?

“No, not really, to be honest. It’s great to have something like that to lead you through life, but I’m starting to believe that being able to adapt might be more important. You know, while still trying to do the right things…

There’s that one quote from Alice In Wonderland: ‘It’s no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.’ My sister loves that book… I guess it’s not the worst thought to keep in mind. But then, I’m not exactly good at holding to it.”

14. What are your thoughts on the Hogwarts staff? Do you genuinely think that they can protect the students of Hogwarts?

He laughs. “I’m sorry, it was quite inappropriate. Um… I do believe that they are capable of protecting students. I respect the majority of the faculty, and I’m grateful for their impact on my life. Professor Flitwick, Professor McGonagall… Even Snape, believe it or not. But I don’t think they can deal with that. I’m not sure anymore if they’re choosing to ignore some things or… I don’t know. I hope there’s a good reason and they mean well. They just can’t help me.”

22. If I am correct you knew Duncan Ashe, right? If so what were your thoughts on him?

“Yes, I knew Duncan. He was… one of the most annoying people I met. He never could sit in one place for a long time, unless it was required to realise one of his brilliant plans. He was incredibly stubborn, you know, and equally talented. He was always sarcastic and never took anything seriously... Yeah, that pretty much sums him up.

… Duncan Ashe was my best friend. He was like a brother to me.”

23. Are you really responsible for the untimely passing of the young Slytherin, Duncan Ashe?

“I’m afraid so… People keep telling me that I’m not. But why I feel guilty then? I can’t lie to myself like that.”

12.  Is there anyone you can confide in?

"There is one person I can confide, Duncan Ashe. He's my best friend and he's been there for me since our first year and he was the reason I even learned about the vaults in the first place and he-"

"Oh, Uh, I'm sorry I'm rambling now aren't I?"

13.  Do you think of yourself as a good person?

"Well I don't think I'm a bad person. I mean haven't done anything bad, at least in my eyes and I've helped people and tried my best to be nice. So, yes, I think I'm a good person."

14.  What are your thoughts on the Hogwarts staff? Do you genuinely think that they can protect the students of Hogwarts?

"I think they could protect most of the students of Hogwarts but I don't think they could protect everyone. I mean while it isn't something that happens often it's not uncommon for a student at Hogwarts get hurt."

22.  If I am correct you knew Duncan Ashe, right? If so what were your thoughts on him?

"Uh, Yes I knew him, he was, well Duncan was the type-"

"I'm sorry give me a moment"

"He was an amazing person and while he did get into trouble a lot and he also wasn't exactly the nicest person he was a good person"

"I mean if it wasn't for me he would still be-"

4. What is the best thing about finding the vaults?

“Probably satisfaction from solving the mystery. You know that feeling when you’re reading the climax scene of a detective book, and it turns out you were right all along? It’s something like that. I hate to admit that, but I guess I also enjoyed an adrenaline rush at times… And then after that, you realise that the curse is broken, that you helped people affected by it. You feel good about yourself for a moment. 

I can see it being somewhat addicting if the circumstances were different.”

11. What do you think about people’s perception of you?

“Honestly, I don’t really care much at this point. It’s sometimes frustrating, but maybe it’s also better they don’t know everything. I just hope that people I care about didn’t stop believing in me entirely. Or at least that they’ll understand one day.”

17. If you could, would you go back in time before you got involved with the vaults?

“No. I went once through it, and that’s enough for a lifetime. I don’t think I’d make different decisions and risk even worse consequences. And if you ask if I wouldn’t get involved at all… What would it change though? Would I still be alive then? What about my sister, the rest of my family? My… I believe I was cursed for this fate.

Perhaps, I’d go back if I could also stop time, lock myself in the loop. When I was younger, I thought it’s really boring to do the exact same things every day, that it’s the future which holds everything interesting. But what is boring about your loved ones being safe?”

20. Did you purposely harm students at Hogwarts?

“Purposely? No, never.”

2. When did you first start to get interested in the Cursed Vaults?

“I was in the second year when I found the first information about it. It started as a simple curiosity if there’s anything more to learn, just another riddle to solve. I didn’t expect it could get this serious and real. After all, these were only legends.”

3. Do you regret getting involved with the vaults?

“Every day, even if it feels like I didn’t have a choice, to begin with.”

4. What is the best thing about finding the vaults?

5. What is the worst thing about finding the vaults?

“The realisation that despite the current curse being broken, it’s not over. That it might get a lot worse. That there’s the next Vault ahead of you, waiting to hurt people. And you have to deal with it because otherwise, who else will?”

18. Can you trust anyone?

“Can I?” he laughs. “I know people call me paranoid, but yeah, I can. In fact, I do – even though I was told it’s not a good thing.”

21. What are your thoughts on what people are saying about family?

“This is what pains me the most. I don’t care what people say about me, but I hate that my family is judged because of that. My parents are the most decent people, they did great at raising us, and my little sister… Nobody should be defined by another person, even if it’s your family. Maybe especially in that case because you can’t choose it. I wish I didn’t have to put them through this… but was I supposed to do? Pretend to be a good boy and risk them getting hurt? I had to do this…”

24. Are the rumors about you being affiliated with “He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named” true?

“God, no! I suppose I should be more bothered by being connected with this disgusting ideology, but truth be told, it’s too ridiculous to think people actually believe that. Right…?”
