Born and raised in the heart of Detroit, MI producer/songwriter Christian Berishaj at a young age developed a fascination with music and performance. Berishaj began recording his own sounds at the tender age of 12 and by the time he turned 18 he was a seasoned vet in the music industry. His self-release full-length LP,The Blue Album is a full 14-track effort featuring more R&B inspired music, taking a step back from heavier Pop influenced sounds from previous projects he had released. Love Arcade, the sobriquet for Berishaj during the earlier years of his career had signed to Atlantic Records and released the self titled album in 2006.one of his earlier releases under another
The Blue Album serves as Berishaj’s first release since his 2012 solo debut. The album '†Priscilla†' earned him critical acclaim from various press writers as well as fellow artistic contemporaries. During the intervening time post his release of '†Priscilla†', he’s collaborated his vocal talents to a number of different hip-hop albums, including Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d. city, Ab-Soul’s These Days, and Tyga’s Hotel California, among others. Despite working with such high-profile artists, Berishaj runs his own label, White Room Records and operates almost predominantly out of his home studio.
Berishaj said in a statement that The Blue Album will document his evolution of life and sound. Also adding, “The Blue Album is begins in one form and will continue to transform in ways beyond his being. An unpredictable journey through 14 mind blowing, intoxicating R&B tracks.
