BCT Reflective Video
Reflecting on Reflective Video
My Reflective Video is currently uploading to YouTube. I have once again fallen victim to procrastination and really bad time management skills. I've got no one to blame but me. It’s been a chain reaction from Thursday where if you get behind in one thing. It’s all downhill from there.
The content of my video has been poorly planned. From just a lack of putting in the proper research. And searching my brain for a real authentic reason for the things i do. This has resulted in stumbled sentences from not enough time to write out and plan properly what i wanted to say. This also means that i think i haven’t really addressed what i have been invited to talk about.
Equipment i used:
A little Cannon PowerShoot
I borrowed this little camera and it shoots fine. The problem i faced was that the video size was too small for the Photoshop canvas size. So i ended up with these white borders. But i don't think they look that bad.
I also used it to record my voice which would sound clearer if i knew what i was talking about. But yeah not bad.
Software
Photoshop
The only reason i used Photoshop was because i wanted words to come on screen easily. I've never used the motion setting before . but it was really easy to get use to.
You can tell how some elements don't fit together right. like sound and video. But i do think that what i have made is not that bad. A stronger clearer voice with more emotion on certain words would have made the video much more effective.
This is all a learning experience. And i have definitely learned some skills in video editing. That may come in handy in the future.
