Enjoy this little ficlet I came up with, I had a lot of fun writing this, and I hope you enjoy reading this! :D
Roman was still curious about the noises that Youngblood sometimes makes. The only reason Roman even met him was because he was making those strange noises, and since then he'd continued to do so. So he'd decided that he'd ask Youngblood to teach him how to make those sounds. "Hey, Youngblood!" Roman shouted, knocking on the door of the guest room of his family's keep.
"What do you want doofus?" Youngblood replied, a bit fed up with Roman's over the top, too trusting nature."
"Can you teach me how you make those stranger noises you were making earlier?" Roman barged into the guest room.
"I mean, sure," Youngblood sounded confused, "Have you really never heard of singing before?" Youngblood didn't know it was possible for someone to not know what singing was. Roman cheered, pulling them both down to sit on the bed. He was basically shaking with excitement, loving the chance to learn something new from his new friend. While Youngblood on the other hand was confused on how the hell he was going to explain what singing was.
"Okay, so um, let's start with solfège, something most people know," Youngblood explained. "Basically, you go, do re mi fa so la ti do, while humming, but with your mouth open, does that make sense?" Roman still looked confused but determined in a way.
"Okay, so here it goes, do re mi fa so la ti do," Roman said. "Did I do good?" Roman questioned, turning slightly to see Youngblood with a weird look on his face "Are you okay, was it really that bad?"
"No, you did... okay?" Youngblood reassured, sounding kind of like he was asking a question. In reality, he thought Roman did really well and was just shell-shocked that he'd never sung before. Roman's face of confusion, stirred on by Youngbloods vague answer encouraged Youngblood to reword his last sentence. "You did well," Youngblood noted, "Hell, you did better than my first time singing, I was so bad back then!"
"Really!" Roman looked as trusting as ever, not doubting a word he said. "Thanks for teaching me!"
Youngblood replied, "It was no big deal." Trying to be modest to put up with mister, 'Totally knows how to use a sword'.
